Booking Terms

1 - Payments

By paying any part of the hire fee the hirer is also agreeing to the Terms & Conditions.

A $100 deposit is necessary to secure the event time and date. Until a deposit is received, the date cannot be confirmed.

The outstanding amount, including any security bond or maintenance fee, must be paid by the hirer to Sydney Photo Booths at least 14 days before the event. Failure to pay may result in the service not being fulfilled.

A travel fee of $1.50/KM one-way will apply for events outside of 50km radius from Summer Hill NSW. An idle fee may apply for extensive waiting periods. Events on boats and certain dates (including public holidays) may be subject to additional fees.

2 - On The Day Requirements

The client will provide Sydney Photo Booths:

  • A table at during the event of at least 1mX1m. 1mX2m size is preferred.

  • A regular power outlet. For clarification: stable 10A output or if by petrol or diesel generator, full sine wave inversion is required.

  • A meal for the attendant/s only if the event is 4 hours or longer. The meal can be a main meal only, buffet style or roaming canapes. Alternatively, if a meal will not be provided then a 30 minute break during the hire time will be required for the attendant, during which no printing will take place.

 

3 - Damaged and Lost Equipment

Sydney Photo Booths will take reasonable care to ensure the client is aware of how to operate the photobooth.

The hirer is otherwise fully responsible for the proper treatment of all equipment by all of their attendees at the event including but not limited to the digital cameras, photo printer, computers, networking devices, props, cabling and other sundry items owned and operated by Sydney Photo Booths.

If major cosmetic or operational damage occurs to any of the hired equipment, or any equipment is lost or stolen during the hire, the amount required to rectify the damage or replace the equipment shall be paid by the hirer within 14 days of being notified by Sydney Photo Booths.

4 - GST

All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

 

5 - Cancellation

If the hirer cancels within 7 days of booking, the deposit will be returned in full. If the hirer cancels after 7 days of booking but more than 28 days before the event the monies paid, excluding the deposit, will be refunded. If the hirer cancels 28 days or less from the event date, all monies paid will be forfeited and non-refundable.

Prior notice is required of changes to the time and date of the event. Sydney Photo Booths cannot be held responsible for unforeseen delays and disruptions caused by the venue, venue staff or guests.

6 - Privacy

Sydney Photo Booths will not sell your details to any third party and will take reasonable measures to ensure that your details remain confidential. Sydney Photo Booths may contact you with future special offers.

7 - Hiring, delivery and service

Time taken to deliver, set up and remove the photo capture and printing service will be outside the rental period. An Sydney Photo Booths operator will only attend the photobooth if paid for as part of the package. Should the booth malfunction, a technician will be available by phone initially, then remote internet login and finally by physically servicing the booth.

8 - Use of images

Sydney Photo Booths may use the event images for their portfolio, samples, self-promotions, editorial use or for display on their website/social media sites. For any other use, Sydney Photo Booths shall obtain written permission from the hirer.

Sydney Photo Booths will not use images which are deemed unsuitable on their website or for advertising.

9 - Force Majeure

Sydney Photo Booths will not be liable for failing to perform under the Agreement by the occurrence of any event beyond their reasonable control, including a labour disturbance, internet outage or interruption of service, communication outage, failure by a service provided to us to perform, fire, threatened or actual act of terrorism, natural disaster, or war.

Liability for non-completion of service by and at the fault of Sydney Photo Booths shall be limited to monies paid. If service is partially performed, a pro-rata amount shall be retained by Sydney Photo Booths.

10 - Miscellaneous

Sydney Photo Booths may stop the usage of the photobooth service at any time during the event if they reasonably feel that the hired equipment is being misused in a way that is dangerous to any persons or potentially damaging to the equipment.

This Agreement incorporates the understanding of both parties. Any variations to this Agreement must be in writing by Sydney Photo Booths and signed by both parties.
